Les diabétiques
According to an INAMI* study, one estimates at more than 450,000 the number of diabetics in Belgium, that is to say nearly 1 person out of 20. Pastries are part of the food that poses problems to the people who suffer of diabetes.
Ellphi pastries are made with a revolutionary sugar, Sweetwell. It is a “new sugar”, made out of more than 99% of natural ingredients & which contain fewer calories (beets, corn, chicory). Sweetwell resembles sugar. It has the taste of it but with fewer calories and more fibres.
It also has a low glycaemic level and is consequently appropriate for diabetic people and for those having to follow a strict diet. It was tested clinically in several hospitals and Universities on diabetic patients (Reading Scientific Service in the United Kingdom, the University of Antwerp etc.).
